| Remove and clean wheel bearings | ||||
| Check bearings for any sign of pitting or discolouration | ||||
| Repack bearings with wheel bearing grease | ||||
| Check bearing runners for any sign of pitting or discolouration | ||||
| Check condition of brake shoes | ||||
| Check condition of brake drum | ||||
| Check condition of wheel studs and drum threads | ||||
| Refit hub and set tension on castle nut | ||||
| Check axle bolts tight | ||||
| Check all wiring and gas hose secure | ||||
| Reset brakes from hub to coupling | ||||
| Tighten all brake cable nuts | ||||
| Check operation and setting of override lever | ||||
| Lubricate coupling shaft at nipples | ||||
| Check and lubricate coupling handle locking pin | ||||
| Check coupling bolts tight | ||||
| Lubricate brake lever rod / ratchet and ratchet pin | ||||
| Check operation of jockey wheel | ||||
| Check jockey handle secure | ||||
| Check jockey wheel spins freely and not cracked | ||||
| Lubricate jockey inner thread | ||||
| Clean and re-grease corner steadies | ||||
| Check corner steady worm straight | ||||
| Check corner steady worm nut tight | ||||
| Check corner steady mounting bolts | ||||
| Check brake lever grip and button | ||||
| Check 7-pin plug and tail lights, Indicators, stop lights | ||||
| Check condition of catches, locks, screws and tighten | ||||
| Check all reflectors - front, side and rear | ||||
| Check tent pole box secure and door fittings | ||||
| Check tent pole sockets | ||||
| Check fridge vents | ||||
| Check condition of tyres | ||||
| Check number plate and light | ||||
| Tighten wheel nuts | ||||
| Wash exterior | ||||
